You might want to look at DISKSECURE: shareware, and available on many ftp
sites that carry antiviral software.

The commercial Virus0Buster has a program that runs in CONFIG.SYS.  Advanced
Security had a program that ran from the MBR, but is no longer sold (good
thing too.)
