Hi all - We're a small government contracting company trying to grow in the northern virginia area. We have openings now for senior and mid-level information assurance/infosec/security engineers. Our company flavor is "we're the guys who wear jeans and get the job done!" We're really not looking for the paper shufflers, but rather the people who know how to role up their sleeves, architect, design, develop, troubleshoot and field complex IT structures. Our belief at SEIDCON is that if you can do it, you can write about it :) If you are an american citizen, and you're interested in a challenging career with a growing small business specializing in hard core security engineering, we'd love to hear from you. You should have a BS in engineering or the hard sciences from a well-known university as a minimum, and solid familiarity with UNIX O/Ss and networking of medium to large scale infrastructures. Concepts in ATM, Firewalls, IDSs, Defense In Depth technologies are a definite plus!! If you are non-degreed, we're also looking for some technician slots. Your duties would be to support the engineering staff in setting up test bed arrangements, configuring boxes, installations for customers, test support, etc. About us: We are headquartered in the San Diego area, in the city of Oceanside, CA. We've been in business for the past 17 years and have developed a solid reputation within the defense community as a security engineering company of considerable depth. We recently became an SBA-backed 8(a) company which precludes us from having to compete for government contracts, while the SBA encourages government agencies and services to do business with 8(a) certified companies. We are currently supporting roughly 12 large, long term, IDIQ task-based contracts - most of them are listed on our web site. If interested, please pass your resume over to us at any of the following email addresses: kirki@seidcon.com sherris@seidcon.com Our simple web site is at: www.seidcon.com look forward to hearing from all of you....Please NO HEAD HUNTERS :) kirk immel - vp engineering operations seidcon, inc. nope...this is for a job opportunity, not a technical security issue involving the unix o/s. kirk "Larry Kilgallen" <Kilgallen@eisner.decus.org.nospam> wrote in message news:oKg0MCmQKQAk@eisner.decus.org... > In article <944uto$1fus$1@thoth.cts.com>, "Kirk Immel" <kirki@seidcon.com> writes: > > > and solid familiarity with UNIX O/Ss and networking of medium to large scale > > infrastructures. > > In which case you should have used COMP.SECURITY.UNIX rather than > comp.security.misc.
