Your first problem is not reading documentation found on the site. Direct from the SAINT FAQ <snip> I'm trying to get SAINT running on my Linux box. Why won't it work? Linux is far from a standard Un*x, and SAINT has a tendency to push the OS and perl to the limits. We've tried to do as much as possible to make it work, but there are probably various problems we haven't found because we don't have a Linux box to play with. (Cross?) posting to comp.security.unix and comp.os.linux.* could probably give you more help than we could. </snip> What does this mean? It means SAINT won't compile without some kickass reconfiguring. Try searching through the Deja.com archives and see if there are any articles on this subject. -- Sincerely, Craig Vincent Senior Webmaster/Programmer Web Dream Inc.
