I have a couple of methods of resisting the trend of traceable
cash (BTW, I believe England had traceable cash (Bank of England Notes) up
until sometime ago (after WWI)). First, I resist using credit whenever
possible (I only own a credit card (max limit 500$) because of the
possibility of emergencies)). Second, I withdraw cash from the bank and
use it instead of checks.
Admittedly, I'm not always consistent in this; if I forget to go
to the bank, I'll use a check. But I try.
