I got the KHOROS v1.0 Patch Lever 5 install on my SGI station, (Personal
IRIS running v4.05 Operating System).  I am having problems displaying
images.  The problems are:

      1) To display the images with correct grey level, the pointer must stay
in the Pane Icon window.  Otherwise, the colors (grey level) are not correct
and with a lots of noise.  If the pointer stays in the Pane Icon window, the
image display is correct, but the entire screen becomes black except the image.

      2) The interactive LUT does not work.  The colors cannot be changed.

      3) When the zoom option is select, X Error occurs.  The error message
reads:

      X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attrivutes)
        Major opcode of failed request: 72 (X_PutImage)
        Minor opcode of failed request: 0
        Resource id in failed request:  0x4000041
        Serial number of failed request: 6750
        Current serial number in output stream: 6751
      Major X error encountered for display 'DISPLAY:0.0'! unable to recover.

I communicated with Mark Young in earlier last month.  He told me that there
was a bug in the software while using 24 bit color display and suggested me
to use Xsgi to reset default values.  I tried to use Xsgi and could not get
it to work.  What should I do next to solve this problem?  Please help.

PS: I have been using the KHOROS prior to the Patch Level 5 and did not have    s
this kind of problems.
