hi,

i think it is a problem of the two X-implementations and not of the 
Khoros-System.

we have the same problem with an animation tool (xgrasp) displaying it
from unix to vax/vms. The X-System on the VAX crashes.

using KHOROS on a unix-station and displaying the results to
Dec-Windows with a DXWM will loose all that little "Warning-Boxes" like
"Do you wish to convert the image? ...".

maybe another Windows-Manager can solve your problem ...
