Hi,
I was just curious about the differences between matlab/simulab and acsl
as far as simulation of dynamical systems is concerned. I use matlab
but many here at the office use acsl code. I also know that acsl can use
matlab as a computational engine. So what's the difference? Has anyone who
has used both please tell me? Is one more efficient than the other?

While I'm here, I'd like to know if the Mathworks has student or discount
pricing on PC matlab. I got a price list in the mail recently and $1600 is
more than I have lying around.

Thanks in advance.

-Ganesh
