I have one short question. Is it possible to use object-oriented principles (object, class, inheritance, etc.) to make Matlab programs? I have a big radar signal simulation program to make and I like 1) the idea of easy maintenance of object-oriented programs, and 2) the integrated signal processing and graphics of Matlab environment. Any suggestions? Frederic fcote@gel.ulaval.ca

Have you thought about using Simulink? I guess you can do some sort of OOP by carefully modularizing your functions and limiting access. However, you do lose the type safety and other good things that comes with C++. On the other hand, you can use MEX files to directly program in C++ and hook it back to Matlab.
