nextstep & novell?

Upgrading a network from 3.12 to 4.10 novell *appears* to destroy a
nextstep box's ability to communicate via NFS with a sun box(obviously,
when they are on the same network). I've gotten other reports of
interference with terminal servers and more generally - "extreme
slowness." The common thread seems to be TCP/IP.

Appeals to nextstep & novell have gone unanswered thus far. Is this a
known problem? Is there a solution? Any input would be appreciated.

Your description of the problem is so vague as to be virtually
worthless. However, I'd look hard at issues like IP addressing and
routing.
