I am an independent software developer, and I am reading a product for market. Like many developers in my position, money is a premium. I can't affort to include a third party License Manager in my product, however I have a reasonable node locking scheme. Still, I view the inability to provide floating licenses a real problem. Are there any reasonable public domain license managers out there that could be modified for my purpose. In leau of that, has anyone had any experience with first release products that were initially node locked and then later floating licenses were available. Did the companys provide an trade in policy, to make the deal seem a little sweeter to big accounts ?
