QA Engineer

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to build a world-class
Quality Assurance function in our company.  The preferred candidate will
have 3+ years of experience in the development of Application and
Operating System Services. Responsibilities will be in the areas of
automated test suite development and defect tracking for our Intra- and
Internet applications which are written in C, C++, Java, CGI, WebObjects,
HTML and Oracle RDBMSs on UNIX and NT.	A good understanding of IP-based
networking, as well as RDBMSs  and Object Oriented Programming (OOP) is
essential. Experience client/server environment working with LARGE
databases along with SQL experience is a big plus�

Candidate will establish testing methodologies to ensure both the basic
functionality and the relevant edge cases of our products are tested. 
Write test plans and establish minimal release criteria for different
stages in a products life-cycle to be able to make objective decisions as
to when a product is ready for shipment. Responsible for the release
cycle coordination between development and production.	Coordinate
integration of products, as well as, the unit testing of products.

Responsibilities: - Develop, execute, and maintain software test plans,
test designs  and test cases. - Develop testing resource estimates and
schedules. - Implement and maintain automated test cases with QA test
tools. - Conduct integration testing of the GUI registration and author-
ization interface with the other components. - Write, verify, and clarify
software bug reports. - Work with Product Support and Operations to
resolve product  related anomalies. - Write and maintain orderly test
results and status reports. - Work effectively with other members of the
project team. - Maintain technology expertise, using and applying
state-of-the- art Quality Assurance tools and practices.

Requirements: - 5+ years of technical experience in commercial software
product testing. - 1+ years experience directing other test team members
and  working with development. - Demonstrated experience implementing and
maintaining QA auto-mation methods and tools such as QA Partner and
Autotester. - Demonstrated expertise in the development of test plans and
 strategies from engineering and business specifications. - In-depth
experience with these Operating System Environments:  UNIX and	NT. -
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Solid
understanding of leading edge QA methodologies. - Highly motivated, self
starter, works well independently and on a team.
