Position:  Systems Engineer

Position Description:	Systems Engineer will set up and maintain one or
more testbeds used to perform independent verification and validation
(IV&V) on software systems supporting air traffic control, airspace
management and other aeronautical domains.  Duties will include
preparing and documenting requirements and design; integrating hardware
and software of multiple platforms, including input and output devices
of various types; configuring and tuning systems; modifying systems to
accommodate new requirements; establishing and maintaining LAN and WAN
connectivity; providing a reliable testbed for a highly skilled IV&V
team.

Skills:
Experience in and knowledge of the following areas:
5+ years hardware systems engineering
real time systems
multiple platforms, including SGI, SUN
Unix
systems design and integration
simulating control operations
TCP/IP, NFS, Cisco routers
good oral and written communication skills
documentation standards
BSCS, BSCE, BSEE or related degree
testing and evaluation projects, a plus
DoD projects and standards, a plus
project lead management experience, a plus
FAA and or other airspace or air traffic regulatory requirements, a plus
interfacing with government procurement, a plus
IBM platforms, a plus

Location   : Fairmont, West Virginia
