Title: Software QA Engineer
Location: San Jose, California

Description:
Requires a BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or equivalent,
and 4-6 years related experience, with a minimum of one year
of QA experience testing GUI applications written in Java.
Ability to write test programs in C, Java, or Unix shell scripts
is a must. Good knowledge of IP based LAN/WAN networking and
client-server applications needed. Knowledge of Segue SilkTest
and scripting experience highly desirable. Understanding of SQL
and Oracle DB a plus. Prior experience testing SNMP based network
management applications a plus. Telecom Network Management
experience highly desirable. Knowledge of JDBC, SNMP and other
protocols to communicate to Server running Oracle 8 DB is
desirable. Focus on GUI testing of Java based applications. Automate
GUI testing by using Segue's SilkTest tools and other scripting
languages. Create comprehensive Test Plan and Specifications for
testing GUI end-to-end.
Setup complex networks comprising IP routers, X.25, OSI, ISR 3303.
Enter bugs in bug tracking system, generate and track bug reports.
