I have been trying to find an answer to a problem in screen32 for awhile without any luck. The problem exists in both the stuff on Juergen's machine and the GNU screen-3.2b. I am running on Sun Sparc stations under SunOS 4.1.1. Everything will go fine for awhile and then all of a sudden I will start getting the message: "fgtty: Could not set process group id in tty." Usually this means that it refuses to create me a new window; occassionaly, I get the message but, if it is screen trying to invoke an rlogin to a remote machine, it still works. Is there some table that is getting filled? I have the executables NFS mounted from one machine and I find that it only does this on one of the remote machines (the one that has more persons using screen). I don't see any differences with the permissions on the ttys between machines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
