Multiple-Method Software Design Tool
GRAPHICAL DESIGNER
by
Advanced Software Technologies, Inc.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shift your designs into high gear with the Graphical Designer! The tool
supports the design and implementation (code generation) of systems
designed using the following methodologies:
* Rumbaugh
* Booch
* Shlaer-Mellor
* HP FUSION
* Entity-Relation Diagrams
* Data Flow / Control Flow
* User Defined
Methodologies may be extended by the user (new symbols created) and code
generation may be customized to fit your particular needs.
Below are some of the key capabilities of the Graphical Designer :
* Superior graphical design support including robust forward and reverse
engineering of detailed source code.
* A high quality flexible drawing tool to draw designs as well as enhance
diagrams with additional non-design graphics, allowing for the production of
high-quality design diagrams that may be included in documentation.
* Unparalleled automation of design diagram layout. This allows for
"lightening-fast" software design and eliminates the need to spend endless
hours adjusting diagrams to make them visibly pleasing.
* Support for a wide variety of design methodologies. Users may also easily
modify design methodologies, or even create their own methodologies. This
is critical as advances in both design methods and programming languages
occur at an ever-increasing pace.
* User-expandable symbol set. This allows users to create their own design
symbols and to specify how these symbols should draw, generate code, and
participate in reverse-engineering.
* An intuitive, easy to use GUI. The Graphical Designer features a vastly
superior user-interface to all competing tools.
The single aim of all our tools is to dramatically enhance the productivity of
software developers. Toward this goal, we focus our technology in two central
areas: (1) providing users with state-of-the-art software development
technology, and (2) the development of user interfaces that are both easy to
use and have a natural, intuitive look-and-feel.
Platforms: UNIX (Sun, DEC, HP, SGI & most other versions on other platforms)
