Sorry (in advance) if this is not the appropriate news group and/or this
subject is old hat.

I am looking for a book/paper discussing the advantages of structured
specification and design techniques. Of particular interest are case
studies where the end product was a small to medium sized EMBEDDED
software system. Has anyone compiled and published this kind of document
including some attempt to quantify the results?

  Thanks in advance
