Why don't we broaden this discussion into a survey of formal methods around the world? I can report that I am researching an MSc thesis in a formal-methods area, in South Africa, at the University of Cape Town. If by `Formal Methods' you include semantics, then we have a group of two research leaders and 7 grad students working in this area. We are the only such group in the country, however. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Gavan Tredoux, Dept.
