Why no logical XOR operator?

Hello.

I'm wondering why there isn't a logical XOR operator (eg. ^^)
though there is a bitwise one (ie. ^).

The other bitwise operators ( & | and ~ ) have their logical
aquivalent ( && || and ! ). And the XOR is IMHO not that uncommon.
