The README associated with the April 28, 1995 WP said this:
You will have the opportunity to comment officially on the contents
of
the Working Paper. ...
In any event, you will have at least until some time in July to
comment on this Working Paper and the instructions for doing so will
be available well before then. You will be able to request those
instructions in any of three ways:
1. Read this file again from time to time.
But the file hasn't changed. Has the time for comment come and gone,
or has it not come yet?

Has the time for comment come and gone, >or has it not come yet? The public comment period for that version of the draft expired at the end of July 1995. Two additional revisions of the draft have appeared since then, but not for public consumption. Sometime this year another version of the draft will be published for public comment. Details will be announced in this newsgroup, among other places, when the dates are known. Right now I can't predict when that will be. --- Steve Clamage, stephen.clamage@eng.sun.com Chair, X3J16, C++ Committee --- [ comp.std.c++ is moderated. Along these lines, I was contacted several months ago to provide my address so responses to my comments could be mailed to me. These responses have still not arrived, so I'm beginning to wonder if they have disappeared. Or is this just the bureaucracy at work grinding away at a deliberate pace? It is a committee of volunteers who are trying to be sure that the comments and responses (more than 100 pages of them) are correct before sending them out. They haven't gone out yet, but they will. -- --Andrew Koenig ark@research.att.com --- [ comp.std.c++ is moderated. To submit articles: try just posting with ] [ your news-reader. [...] At the Santa Cruz meeting last week, the various committee subgroups worked hard to agree on answers to all correctly submitted comments. I suspect you'll need to wait just a little longer for the answers to be typed up, but they're essentially ``on their way'' AFAIK. Daveed --- [ comp.std.c++ is moderated.
