Could anyone please explain to me what does the message

	Floating point format not linked

mean? The following is a portion of my code:

struct a_struct {
  char name[10];
  float value;
} structureA[100];

Somewhere in my main():

  .
  .
  .

  i = 10;
  scanf("%f", &structureA[i]); /* everytime when I get to this point, */
                               /* the message appears */

Thanks.
