As I saw that "return" doesn't seem to need parenthesis around its
return value, I've never used them :
int foo(int a)
{
return a + 1;
}
But it appears that may coders add them anyway :
int foo(int a)
{
return (a + 1);
}
So I was wondering what was the right thing to do .. Despite it looks
quite strange without these parenthesis, all C compilers are fine
working like that and this is surely the right norm.
But in the next release of the C standard, would these parenthesis be
required or will they still be optional ?
Thanks.
