There is not enough room here to explain all the differences and imporovments to the C++ language, over C. I suggest you read both of Bjarne Stroustrup's books, "The C++ Programming Language", and "The Design and Evolution of C++". I would hardly concider the concepts of a class, (including encapsulation, data hiding, constructors, destructors, etc...), references, inline functions, inheritance, polymorphisim (Virtual functions), templates, exception handling, new & delete, etc..., as just GADGETS! >So please never add class features to our beloved C language. I agree completely. C is still an excellent language, and does not need classes added to it. As I have stated before, Let C Be C! -- Rick Stanley | RSI stanleyr@acf4.nyu.edu | (212) 740-6600 Information Technologies Institute | C++ & C Language New York University NYC, NY USA | Programming, Training, Consulting
