Hi there, I have a remote process on system A transferring file, say FILEA. Another processes on system B wants to read file FILEA as soon as the WHOLE file has been transfered. I know one can tell process B the size of the file FILEA before the transfer and then process B does a fstat to check the size....but is there any other way? For instance, is there a way to tell if there are no descriptors associated with a file? Any suggestions are welcome! And thanks in advance. Sincerely, Jamwal Email: jamwal@quality.com
