VAX running 4.2 BSD, cc.c 4.8 3/24/84
SUN running 4.2 SunOS 3.2

Are we in the dark ages?
We plan to upgrade the VAX to 4.3 next month.

What is your interpretation of K&R?  Are such constructions
unsafe, undefined, nonportable, silly?
