I am looking for an ability to enter kana & kanji text in Unix with X11R5 for message catalogs. These are my questions: Qs1. How to make xterm or kterm accept kana/kanji font, and i.e. provide an ability for keyboard mapping to enter text, for example: kterm -fn *kana14 & or xterm -fn *8x16romankana & does NOT work. It substitutes the requested font with a normal same size courier font. Qs2. What is the corresponding non-proportional kana font to X11 system font "fixed"? Qs3. Does anyone know tools for editing kana & kanji text and printing files with it in the specified above environment? Thx to everyone!
