Could anyone give a summary of the significant features of the Plan 9
OS, the significance of Plan 9 itself if other than just being another
research OS, and possibly a reference to a paper that goes into more
detail? I've seen it mentioned now several times during discussions
about Unicode and am ignorant enough not to have heard of it
otherwise.

Thanks very much,

mark feldman asked for a summary of plan 9.
It would be rather boring to repeat this here but
if you send email to court@research.att.com
(including your snail mail address)
asking for teh Plan 9 CSTR, she should send it to you.
This is a collection of several papers about plan 9.
if you have problems, mail me.
