Does anyone know the whereabouts of ISO standards on software engineering
rumoured to be numbered ISO9000-9004 on software engineering? I have
been told that these standards are about to be adopted by EEC and are
being considered by North American governments as well. If you know where
I can go from here please email me, as I don't poke around... slow news
reader.

Thanx :-)

The ISO 9000 family of standards is about quality assurance in general
and is not a specific software engineering standard. It defines what
documentation a vendor has to provide about his quality control systems
etc. in order to conform to ISO 9000.
