We're getting a bit hot under the collar here, aren't we?

I'm not talking about SysVr3.2.9u.16b-7 versus SysVr3.2.9u.27-alpha. I'm
talking about SAA versus AIX/OSF versus AT&T, or Display Postscript versus
NeWS versus X. Where you have several competing standards that aren't going
to combine into anything good.

TRON, from here, just looks like more of the same.

I don't think that ordinary users care about the technical merits of AIX
versus SysV.3.2. But they're both bases for opposing standards.

That's nice, but the laws are still on the books. And as S&Ls are learning,
dead administrations don't keep promises very well. Now if Congress should
step in...
