I'm doing a web page about some of the dumb things that people have done. I was woundering if everyone could send some sort of memo around, or an e-mail or something to all the support representatives asking them for stories. The web page will not meniton any names, either of the support representative or the client. It will only mention the organization that it was submitted from. Here's a few examples that I have gleaned so far to give you an idea what I'm looking for.. 1>A gentleman had his computer in for servicing because it had come into contact with liquid. He asked the family what happened. His 3 year old daughter replied "Computer was thirsty. I fixed it". She had poured a glass of orange juice into the floppy frive. 2>Someone brought a computer in for servicing as it had stopped working. Apparently he had taken the computer into the shower with him because his brother-in-law had told him that showering was the way to get rid of a computer virus. 3>A technician told the client to remove a jumper on his motherboard. The client removed the jumper, then proceded to use pliers to remove the pins as well. If anyone can help me out with stories like this, I'd really appreciate it.. Please send stories to ccs@baynet.net Thankyou very much in advance Chris Riley
