dissi has been replaced by the latest version (to make it run under RO3).

New software:

nspark - by Andy duplain. A completely new Unix read-only version of Spark.
         (seems to work much better than previous versions, at least on
         Sparcstations) 
npatch - a patch to nspark, for SCO Unix users.

         cark has now been removed from the server.

lunch - by Peter Gaunt. Screen saver/blanker with lots of features.

fl2   - by Pete Millerchip. Fractal landscape generator.




 
To retrieve a file from the archive, send a message to 
info-server@newcastle.ac.uk with the following content:

line-limit 1000
request: sources
topic: archimedes filename
request: end

where filename is replaced by the name of the file that you want.
A filename of 'index' will send you the latest index file.
A filename of 'tail_index' will send you the list of the last 50 files added
to the archive.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR SOFTWARE IS VIRUS FREE BEFORE SENDING IT TO ME
