replay_harrier3 has now been added to the archive. New utilities by Stephen Burke. Names and descriptions are as follows. baslib: Basic library routines to allow the use of floating-point mnemonics within the Basic assembler. Previously released through Archive and APDL. bbctap: !BBCTape reads files from a tape-based BBC micro to an Arc via a serial link. Unique in its rather limited market :-) May be able to read disc files as well (not tested). Originally released through Archive, but seems to have made its way into quite a few PD libraries. cycle: !Cycle lets you cycle through the window stack, bringing the backmost window to the front, either with a hot key or by clicking on its icon. Not previously released. default: This generates a little utility to reset all those annoying things that demos and badly-behaved programs mess up; sound voice allocations, mouse speed, system font definition etc. etc. Not previously released. keychange: KeyChange is a module which provides extra "hot key" codes (allowing all codes between &80 and &ff to be typed), and allows the numeric keypad to simulate the function keys (including the extra hot keys). Extensive documentation and source code is included. Not previously released. (Not tested with RISC OS 3). loader: This is !Loader, a little utility to trigger file loads from the desktop. Previous versions have been released through Archive and APDL, but this version is new. To retrieve a file from the archive, send a message to info-server@newcastle.ac.uk with the following content: line-limit 1000 request: sources topic: archimedes filename request: end where filename is replaced by the name of the file that you want. A filename of 'index' will send you the latest index file. A filename of 'tail_index' will send you the list of the last 50 files added to the archive.
