This is true, I waited for ages before tentatively trying out printers V1.53
with the Turbo and the results were superb with the BJC600.  Since starting
this thread I have ordered a BJC 610. I contacted Canon who were very
helpful and sent me the name of my local dealer.  They have quoted me a
price of UKP299 plus VAT which I think is very good indeed.  They have also
offered me UKP170 for my BJC610.  However, I am selling it for a bit less to
a village Primary School. Call me sentimental but...........:-) This does
mean then for interest, that it is possible to upgrade from the 600 to the
610 for UKP181. Incidentally this edition of RiscUser has a very positive
review of the 610 so all in all.......................
