I've e-mailed Canon about this, but the silence has been > stunning! This is also representative of problems one of my pals suffered with his BJ600.... I think he only printed about 400 pages in the year he had it.... Either Jets blocked solid or they deposited their contents over the innards of the printer... it was repaired under warranty twice.... even had to buy replacement cartridges on its return from Canon.... It was no response from Canon for him also. They failed to respond to his letters/calls etc and failed to solve the problems and left a very nasty taste.... he will never touch another Canon product in his life! From what I have seen/heard/read about the Canon printers is if they work they are good... if they don't then Canon won't really help you either.. it seems that you're on your own... I on the other hand have had a DJ500C for four years plus now... one minor problem with paper pickup two and a half years into its life... it was picked up by HP and a replacement refurbished machine left at the same time all within a couple of days of reporting the fault .... I would recommend HP any day. -- Peter Young Luciano Pavarotti : An Acorn Risc PC - Both the best in the world
