!Restart is an obey file (type &feb). I got it in the SlipSwitch archive. It
lives in !ArcFax's application directory and has the following in it:
Set AFFix <Obey$Dir>
If "<ArcFax$Case>" <> "" Then Filer_Run <AFFix>.Kill
Filer_Run <AFFix>.!Run
Unset OD
There is also a file in there called Kill which is type &D65 (ArcFax script).
It is also quite simple:
void main(void)
{
terminate();
}
These are the only two files that come with SlipSwitch which go into the
!ArcFax directory. If you don't have SlipSwitch (although it looks as though
you do) you can get a copy at the Freenet site as:
http://www.dsse.ecs.soton.ac.uk:8080/ftp/freenet/r.birkett/SlipSwitch_0.04.spk
I still use KA9Q. I've had some worrying experiences with FreeNews and
FreeSMTP. It's probably my set up but I haven't figured out what. KA9Q works
and I just let it pick up my email and news while I'm having my dinner or on
my way back from work :-). I thus use SlipSwitch to send email that I've
prepared during a Web browsing session or whilst off-line.
Hope some of that helped.
TTFN.
Malcolm
