Oh deary me. Where HAVE you been?

Here goes. DON'T QUOTE ME ON THIS

Replay is Acorn's contribution to the multimedia on-line video stuff...
Basically, when you run a replay file (double click on it, OR activate one
from an application) it will display a low resolution 'movie' with sound
(resolution half of mode 13?). HOWEVER, replay's will run REAL TIME off
a slow cd player.. More than I can say for my dad's windows system... When
you play a video, the sound stutters, jerks, echo's and repeats its self!

I THINK there's some replays on Acorn's ftp server, but beware, they are often
in excess of 7 meg in size...
There are usually 2 formats, <file> and <file>2 eg. Accident and Accident2
The smaller one is best for machines before A5000 (arm 2 machines) and slow
arm 3 machines. The larger one has more detail, and runs best off an arm3 or
above.

If you need any more info, do a follow up / mail me / try customer services at
acorn (customer.services@acorn.co.uk) but be prepared to be snubbed off on
to your dealer...

You'll also need a player (!armovie)

Bye for now...
