 This is only if you have an old-fashioned twin speed drive. If you want to
run very pretty clips, try a Quad or Hex preed drive. And NO, they really
aren't that expensive. I got my Quad speed for �92 plus VAT, but had to get
a driver for it. If you own a 7 series then you already have the ATAPI
driver, so no problem there. Just to recap...


Prehistoric single speed  : 150K / sec
Jurassic double speed     : 300K / sec
18'th century quad speed  : 600K / sec
Modern Hex speed          : 900K / sec (quite nippy!)

Futuristc High Density CDROM : <who knows what>K / sec, 'cos they aren't
available yet :-)
