Malcolm's description is very clear about using a /DOSDisc/ file on a
SyQuest, but what /I/ want to do is use the latter in a true DOS form on my
SCSI bus. This needs similar procedures to those described by Malcolm
except that in !PCConfig one uses 'DOS format SCSI device'.

After much unsuccessful messing about with this I have come to the
conclusion that I need an ASPI driver installed in DOS. I have tried the
Power-tec beta ASPI but it does not work. I have downloaded the one from
Aleph1's site only to find it is for PCPro, which I do not have.

The reason for this machochism is that I want to use the SyQuest utilities
to extract the 'Tools' from a new SQ cartridge.

I would be greatly indebted to anyone who can explain what I need/should be
doing.

Brian.
