It doesn't require "loads" of windows to be open to obscure at least the major part of the pinboard. Two open side-by-side is quite enough to do it (I frequently have this when working with ArtWorks and PhotoDesk simultaneously). Frankly, I can't see that having your icons on the pin-board rather than the icon bar has any great advantages. The icon bar does at least keep things tidy, scrolls, and can *always* be brought to the front when needed. The icon bar is, after all, only a "special" part of the pinboard. Sure, there are ways the icon bar could be improved - for example it could be made double-row, moveable, have vertical/horizontal options, and the ability to have different, customable, icon bars (perhaps accessed from the task switcher) to suit different project needs would be nice. As to who is or is not "using their computer properly", I guess we each have our preferred way of working which is efficient for us. Being told that my particular way of working is not "using my computer properly" is not guaranteed to make me feel particularly friendly towards the person who makes that assertion ;-) -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Richard Travers |*ZFC*| 01736 | Spuddlers of the | | richt@argonet.co.uk |**B**| 757941 | World Unite!! | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
