Iclear and Alt-numbers

Today I found I couldn't type an Alt-number pad character into an Ovation
Pro text box. After a lot of head scratching, I found that it was Iclear
preventing it.

The version I have is 1.30, and I must admit I hadn't noticed the above
before - I've had Iclear loaded for a long time.

Is it a RISC OS 4 problem, or is there a later version of Iclear that
does allow Alt-numbers?
