I have been trying to install ARMLinux on my SA RiscPC. To do this the
installation instructions say that your hard disc needs reformatting to give
it 2 Linux partitions - one for the main files and the other the swap area.
I have backed up all my data onto one of my other hard discs and tried to
reformat my hard disc (a 1039MB capacity one) into one of about 500MB. This
should give me about 500MB to install Linux onto. Went !HForm as finished I
have a 500ishMB HD on the icon bar as I would expect. Then however when I
run !PartMan to try and edit the paritions it says:
Partition Start Sector End Sector Size Type
0 2127887 1039MB Free
The installation instructions say it should be along the lines of:
Partition Start Sector End Sector Size Type
1 0 590549 288 Filecore
590550 836069 121 Free
Can anyone help by telling me how to use HForm to set it up so that I can
create my Linux partitions and thus allowing me to install ARMLinux?
Cheers,
al
