This has been coss-posted due to the first part being relevant to
c.s.a.extra-cpu and the later part to the net using community.

Whilst trying to sort out a problem with a CD-Rom that came with the
Encyclopedia of Graphic File Formats I happened to visit O'Reilly
Publishing's web site on http://software.ora.com/news/ms_internet_frame.html
which provides links to interesting background on the M$ NT
Workstation/Server issue.

I suspect that the info here will be of interest to many others.

When I followed the "When it comes to judging Microsoft products, the devil
is in the details link:

http://www.infoworld.com/cgi-bin/displayNew.pl?/petrel/np091696.htm

to the InfoWorld site I had problems with some graphics producing errors of
the form 'Filing system ADFS: must be given a filename', can any body shed
some light on this.

Lionel
