I bought the latter on the understanding that if it didn't work I would return it. I quickly found that the Eizo woulkd not lock to 15625kHz line scan rate but was fine on the 31kHz hi-res flicker-free modes. As a result I'm perfectly happy as it forces me to use a good quality display mode. I still have my old AKF18 for compatibility with older applications and the Eizo is superb. I think the problem is the monitor vs. the screen modes rather than the card. I had to experiment with the various options for monitor types that came with the card software but it didn't take long to work out a suitable set-up. I also found Wild Vision very helpful with advice. Why not give them a call?
