Could we stop this right here and now and stick to the matter in hand,
instead of making sarcastic remarks.

I browsed through Paul's article and the message I got from it as an
agnostic Calvinist confirmed that Prophecies are self fulfilling.

Months of continuous moaning and bitching about Phoebe and now Acorn, 
only deepens the general sense of doom and gloom and despondancy
(therefore removed from the thread title) and we deserve all we get. 

In other threads very positive remarks and suggestions have been made
and this should now be the tenor of all discussions in these newgroups.

I posted an article a few days ago where it said something like:
"Buying a MAC is something like a religious experience" and just now
I read two articles by Ian Gledhill <Ian@amiganet.org>, an Amigan
who said just about the most sensible (and positive) thing I have read 
since Thursday:

"We went through worse and for much longer than the Acorn community 
 and we are still here. We are friends and in this together."

Long live the Acorn\Amiga\Mac family.
