Yes and a current of 20mA is all that is required to kill (especially if
the person is old or ill) with as low as 0.1mA (0.0001A) required to 'feel'
a shock.

I've came across people with as low as 100,000 or as high as 2,000,000 ohms
electrical resistance in my past job.

Mine you, I've had a number of electrical shocks from as low as 110V and as
high as 100,000V and 3phase 110 is much easier on the system as it
oscillates at a high 400Hz so your muscles don't have the chance to react!
:-)

I had one trick I'd play on young apprentices. I'd short together a 12V
power supply capable of delivering 100A and you should have seem the sparks
fly! Then ask the poor wee apprentice to touch the bare ends of the wires...

This way I'd know if they really understood electricity after just
finishing a year at college. But in my 15 years as a electronic test
supervisor no apprentice passed the basic test. :-)

But they all said they'd work on their car's electrics with the battery
still plugged in!

BTW, proper wriststrap we used had to be over 10M ohms. 2M ohms sounds far
too low to me.
