This is the usual nonsense re Termite. I use it daily and *always* do
something else during news downloads. Sometimes I use the Browser, checking
up on Cybervillage, sometimes I use Publisher getting on with my work.
Outrageously, I occasionally use the PCcard at the same time. None of this
disturbs Termite in the slightest.

Mind you, Termite can be upset. Seems that using Artworks in a big way can
cause the occasional glitch but nothing that Alt-break can't solve.

Most termite moaners, in my humble opinion, are either using it alongside
some pretty dodgy other software or haven't bothered to upgrade to the
latest versions. Certainly my copy of the ANT suite (which is up to date
and quite highly rated by me in some areas) is not so reliable on my
machine.

Cheers

Alan
