Oops. Sorry to follow up my own post, but I've realised that this could
possibly cause offence to people reading this in Europe, and that was
not my intention.

I draw your attention to the smiley, and would like to point out that my
statement was intended for certain foreign governments who are
trying to press Britain into a single currency, rather than people in
other countries who might have read my post.

My apologies if I've upset anyone.
