Good old polyglot Mike - not only does his software (Easiwriter /
Techwriter) cope with multiple languages - he does too. The most impressive
thing I've seen him do language-wise is to be asked by two Portugese
visitors to Acorn's stand at CeBIT whether he was Brazilian (where they also
speak Portugese, but with a slight accent). While he always seems to look
suntanned I'm fairly sure that he isn't Brazilian...

Mind you, I also remember Gordon Taylor rattling off and having a crowd
around him at CeBIT like he normally does at any show - get closer and he is
being Gordon Taylor in "fluent" German. (I quote the term "fluent" because,
bless him, he was making a nonsense of the grammar - but what did it
matter?)
