I am having problems dowloading news at the moment. I have access to
Termite and Ant.

I use a Rockwell Stanadard 56K modem on a 41Mb Strong Arm RiscPC

Logging on to Termite frequently is unsuccessful, or if I succeed
often news refuses to download.

Logging on using Ant is fine and I can download news fine, but not all
the newsgroups to which I am subscribed  - eg I get acorn.misc but not
acorn.hardware

This problem has only occurred over the last couple of weeks - prior to
that the system worked fine with downloads of 9000 cps @ 42000

Demon suggested it could be line noise, but I took my system to work
and the same problem occureed.

Any ideas anyone??
