This seems a good idea to me as well. It could be the best option for long
term development of RISC OS provided it is cheap and well designed enough to
'cure' people of Windoze. Not only would it cost less to produce than
Phoebe but could be easily marketed as an 'upgrade' to peoples PCs...

If this was done well enough and enough people got use to using a RISC OS
style desktop then it could be a good base to relaunch 'conventional' ARM
powered computers.

However, it would take <TIME> to do, + a <LOT> of work (reading HD ADFS
Discs and printing etc spring to mind) where as Pheobe/Phoenix (I believe)
could be produced much sooner. Take your choice :-)

PS - Isn't it ironic that from a PC card in an Acorn we now might have an
Acorn card in a PC!
