If so, which ones and how? > You have to download the internet modules for the DC14 stack from Acorns FTP site at:- ftp.acorn.co.uk/releases/networking/DC14/system.arc For some reason RISC OS 3.7 doesn't come with them. Now you will need to get the SLIP driver or PPP driver and InetDB modules. Make sure you get version 2.xx of the drivers. I think these can all be obtained from the Acornet server at:- ftp.uni-kl.de/pub/acorn/comms/ Also while you're there, get the freedial archive. This will allow you to dial up using Acorn's stack plus will tell you how to configure Acorn's stack for PPP or SLIP access using all the above components. It is much easier to use than SlipDial. All other freeware applications should work with this setup including the ones from the Acornet package. I've had a problem getting the SLIP driver to work with the stack but the PPP driver should work fine after you register it. My only question is why did the Acorn TCP/IP Stack not come ready built on the hard drive???? Allan Eagle ajeagle@lineone.net StrongARM RiscPC 24Mb, RISC OS 3.7, 1.2HD, DX4/100 486 PC Card, 8xCD
